The Smiths & Morrissey Clippings.

A huge collection of Smiths & Morrissey clippings from the mid 1980's to the mid 90's,all carefully cut out.The collection is made up of song lyrics,interviews,magazine photos,Morrisseys review of a sparks lp,and much much more and all collected lovingly by a huge fan ,must be near on 40 items and all in excellent condition

New Order –Substance 3 poster set. VERY UBER RARE.  First thing, the posters look much better than the pictures do, 

Three different posters made by Factory Records, One for each format of New Order’s Substance release; CD, LP Cassette tape. Each poster listing the tracks on that format.  Peter Saville artwork!  All 3 are printed on high quality, heavy-duty poster paper. Very rare posters originally designed for promotional use in the UK but were never mass-produced. I have never seen the 3 mentioned in Factory image vaults/ or on any discography that includes Factory and/or New Order posters within the list.  Each poster is 30” x 40” and has been rolled very tight in a dust free tube for a long time.

 The posters have never been folded or displayed. No pushpin holes and no torn off or tape covered corners.  Un-like the pictures, the white backgrounds on all 3 are really bright and clean and the red and blue colors are both nice and vibrant. (EX/EX/EX)

Joy Division. An Ideal For Living Super UBER Rare UK 24" x 17" promotional poster issued to publicise the Anonymous Records 12" EP released in September 1978. Printed on matt paper stock, stored rolled for many years this poster is in excellent condition. The single was self-released in 1978 and was the first recording as 'Joy Division', shortly after changing their name from 'Warsaw' - an incredible artefact

This poster was issued for the group's debut release. The 7" single version was released in June on the band's own Enigma Records label, and a 12" version in October on Anonymous Records, for which this is the poster.

The cover star is Richard Bradford, from the 1967 ATV series 'Man In A Suitcase', in which he played a dismissed CIA agent working for hire in London, living out of his suitcase.
Beautiful colour combinations

The Smiths Rank. The extremely rare Rough Trade promotional inner album artwork as worked on by Jo slee taken from the Design office archives at Rough Trade.Size is 12" x 24". Sadly it has tape around the edges as these were work in progress as Jo worked on them hence the price but you could frame it to hide the tape.(excellent condition)

The cover star is actress Alexandra Bastedo, from TV's 'The Champions'. This poster's beautiful silvered finish delighted Morrissey. The picture is taken from John D Green's best selling 1967 photo book, which sports the period-piece title 'Birds of Britain'.

The Smiths Brixton Acadamy.The super rare last gig (ever performed live on any stage) poster size is approx 24 " x 17 " This concert, put together as a benefit for the Artists Against Apartheid, was rescheduled following Johnny's car accident from one originally due to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on 14 November 1986. It turned out to be the last time the Smiths were on stage together, bar a few television appearances.. (excellent condition)

Jurgen Volmer's photographs of Hamburg's young Rock scene in the early 60s - most famously of the Beatles - won him Lennon's and McCartney's enduring admiration, and clearly that of Morrissey too. The pictures were published in his 1981 book 'Rock'n'Roll Times: The Style and Spirit of the Early Beatles and Their First Fans'.
