New Order Power Corruption & Lies.

Ultra rare especially in this condition Promo Poster from their 1983 US release of their album Power, Corruption, and Lies on Rough Trade.  Size is 20 x 30 inches.  Condition is like new (EX)

Joy Division.

An Ideal For Living Super UBER Rare UK 24" x 17" promotional poster issued to publicise the Anonymous Records 12" EP released in September 1978. Printed on matt paper stock, stored rolled for many years this poster is in excellent condition. The single was self-released in 1978 and was the first recording as 'Joy Division', shortly after changing their name from 'Warsaw' - an incredible artefact.

This poster was issued for the group's debut release. The 7" single version was released in June on the band's own Enigma Records label, and a 12" version in October on Anonymous Records, for which this is the poster.(EX)

Hatfull Of Hollow Promo Proof Design.

Uncredited photograph of a Cocteau model from a French magazine. The tattoo on his shoulder is a copy of a drawing by Jean Cocteau, from his book LE LIVRE BLANC, The photograph is on blue background for early releases, then since late 1986, same photograph, but no background (full-sleeve photograph).

It is not Joe Orton, as some sources wrongly imply.

 

This UNFOLDED poster comes from the Rough Trade Design Offices archives this was the proof poster designed and used by Jo Slee and was printed by Cartel. This is a once in a lifeime chance to own this poster.If you put the sheets over the top of each other it makes the released poster.(EX)

The cover star is distinguised comedienne and actress Avril Angers (who Morrissey admired) in the 1966 film 'The Family Way', a late Boutling Brothers comedy with a working class Bolton setting. Paul McCartney composed the soundtrack.

Morrissey Wolverhampton Tour Poster.

This is an UNFOLDED Morrissey concert poster from December 22, 1988, Which was his first solo performance since having left The Smiths.  It measures 24" x 35" and it comes in most excellent condition, showing only some expected creases.  This rare poster would frame quite nicely, and make a fine addition to any collection.(EX)

The cover star is Richard Bradford, from the 1967 ATV series 'Man In A Suitcase', in which he played a dismissed CIA agent working for hire in London, living out of his suitcase.

The extremely rare Rough Trade promotional inner album artwork as worked on by Jo slee taken from the Design office archives at Rough Trade.Size is 12" x 24". Sadly it has tape around the edges as these were work in progress as Jo worked on them hence the price but you could frame it to hide the tape.(EX)

The poster features Candy Darling from Andy Warhol's film WOMEN IN REVOLT [1971] (pink). Candy Darling is actually a drag queen named James Lawrence Slattery. He died at the age of 25 in May 1974 of leukaemia.

The Smiths Brixton Acadamy.

The super rare last gig (ever performed live on any stage) poster size is approx 24 " x 17 " This concert, put together as a benefit for the Artists Against Apartheid, was rescheduled following Johnny's car accident from one originally due to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on 14 November 1986. It turned out to be the last time the Smiths were on stage together, bar a few television appearances.. (EX)

Jurgen Volmer's photographs of Hamburg's young Rock scene in the early 60s - most famously of the Beatles - won him Lennon's and McCartney's enduring admiration, and clearly that of Morrissey too. The pictures were published in his 1981 book 'Rock'n'Roll Times: The Style and Spirit of the Early Beatles and Their First Fans'.(EX)
